José Rodriguez – Founder & CEO, High Point Agency
José Rodriguez is a seasoned entertainment publicity and talent relations executive with over two decades of experience in reaching and engaging Hispanic audiences. With a track record of spearheading high-impact campaigns across music, television, and film, José has become a trusted leader in the industry, known for his ability to amplify the voices of influential Hispanic talent.
José’s career began in the music industry, where he worked with top record labels, including Capitol Latin and Universal Music, before gaining agency experience at some of the most respected firms in the country. For over nine years, he led publicity and talent relations at Pantelion Films, Hollywood’s pioneering Hispanic film studio, and Pantaya, the first Spanish-language streaming service in the U.S. Most recently, José served as Vice President of Communications and Talent Relations at ViX (TelevisaUnivision), the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service.
Throughout his career, José has worked on some of the most notable projects in Hispanic entertainment, including the highest-grossing Spanish-language film in the U.S., Instructions Not Included, along with Cesar Chavez, No Manches Frida (1 & 2), Spare Parts, and the Sundance award-winning film Radical. In television, José’s expertise helped elevate acclaimed series like De Viaje con los Derbez, the GLAAD award-winning El Juego de las Llaves, El Gallo de Oro, and Y Llegaron de Noche.
